Tell me about your department:
A new department that we are creating within the services department. Walking customers through exchanges through service plans/geek squad protection plans.
What would a normal day for this position look like??
Call center environment. Making calls most of the day. 3 different levels of work: Researching, calling clients and following up with clients, and being available for calls. Very high volume and we will be very busy.
The team has frequent fun activities (potluck, performance incentives, etc.) to help maintain engagement and team camaraderie throughout the week.
Day to day primary tasks may include: generating confirmation numbers, reviewing purchase history, calling customers to walk them through the GSP fulfillment guidelines, answering consumer questions in regards to GSP terms and conditions, deescalating challenging situations, and transacting the exchange through Order Management System (OMS) and Point Of Sale (POS).
Strict attendance policy—contractors are expected to be on time and prepared to work their full shift everyday (unless they have approval from HM for planned absences). This role is an important part of making this team and the business successful.
Work shifts: 10:30 – 7 PM or 7:30 AM – 4 PM CST (Business needs will dictate what shift candidate will be on)
