We're currently seeking a FLOAT POOL MEMBER SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE to join Team Texans. Your customer service, sales focus and can-do attitude are a must if you love helping people, this may be the right fit for you! After all, credit unions were built on the principle of people helping people. This position will be based out of our Richardson branch but will support all of our 13 branches, as needed.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

In the MEMBER SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE role, you are the primary liaison between the member and the credit union! Each day you work with members to determine their financial needs and assist with their requests. Delivering top-notch service is your main goal, going above and beyond when needed to surprise and delight our members. Additionally, you have the opportunity to earn monthly and quarterly incentives based on specific sales metrics.

JOB EXPECTATIONS:

• Act as primary branch contact for service and account maintenance requests, including but not limited to opening new accounts and performing account modifications, fraud reports, check orders, account reconciliations, debit card reissues, and IRA transactions
• Obtain expert knowledge of Texans' products and services to enhance members' financial lives
• Maintain updated and accurate information related to Texans' systems, policies, procedures, and compliance regulations to ensure safety and soundness of the organization
• Promote and educate members on credit union products and services based on member needs that are realized from member interviews
• Actively cross-service members based on financial needs and account review
• Respond to members' requests, problems, and concerns; troubleshoot issues, and/or direct them to the appropriate person for specific information and assistance; may handle more complex questions and problems for other branch team members
• Provide back-up support to the branch operations including but not limited to processing teller transactions, implementing floor management, assisting with loan applications, and other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a sales and service environment, preferably in a financial institution
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a goal-orientated sales environment
• Successful completion of a drug screen, credit check and background check
