Summary of Position:
A successful cost center specialist will oversee and assist in the management of the day-to-day operations of one or multiple field construction offices. Primary responsibilities include working with field office personnel in new job setups, ensure timely and accurate production entry, customer invoicing, job cost & variance analysis, etc. The cost center specialist will be detail oriented, self-disciplined & motivated, and one that strives for continuous improvement. At a minimum, this position requires a good working knowledge of accounting/business practices, ability to use a computer (Microsoft Excel), and an understanding of how to analyze data.

2.the ability to read understand, interpret, and analyze data with a high degree of accuracy and completeness;
3.the ability to work with internal and external (field office) customers in a professional, courteous manner;
4.the ability to assist and drive field offices to hit critical cut-off periods, week-end/month-end, to ensure proper accounting treatment;
5.the ability to understand work load and determine the priority of duties;
6.the ability to be critical of the way things are done, ultimately not afraid to ask questions;
7.the ability to function effectively in an occasional high-stress environment;
1.Completion of high level tasks in support of an assigned department/project.
2.Receive, organize, file, and maintain documents and/or data for an assigned department/project.
3.Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist assigned department/project.
4.Read, interpret, and input data in support of an assigned department/project.
5.Additional Duties as assigned.
1.Prior work related experience.
2.Proficient in the use of office hardware and software. (PCs, Tablets, Printers, Copiers, Microsoft, Google, etc.)
3.Excellent Customer Service skills and strong English language skills both oral and written.
4.Authorized to work in the United States.
5.Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check.
